Fr Richard's Ordination in Uganda |
On the Feast of St. Camillus 2011 Bro. Richard Lubaale was ordained a priest. He is the first Ugandan Camillian. He was ordained in his home parish of Kakira, not far from our community in Jinja. Richard is well known to the Killucan community and the local people here as he has spent several summers helping in the Nursing Centre. Brother John represented the Killucan Community at this wonderful event. We ask you keep Fr. Richard and all our religious in Uganda in your prayers. Here are some images from the Ordination. The Ordination took place in the open-air in Bro. Richard's home parish of Kakira. The parish is run by the Order of Friors Minor, Capuhcins. The Parish Priest, Fr. Maximillian, can be seen in the background. Fr. Shibin helps him prepare the sanctuary
